- Tues 22nd August // 6pm
- Venue: The Playhouse
- Adm: FREE
- Dutch artists Lory Stuurman and Caro de Feijter will be exhibiting portraits developed through the stories of young LGBT people from Derry/Londonderry using audio, text and photography in various public spaces, toilets and The Playhouse.
- By showing the diversity of the LGBT+ community they are combatting the often stereotypical, and black & white image, of gender and sexuality. Lory is a photographer and is interested in the socially constructed gender norms and Caro is a theatre maker and installation artist who focuses on diversity in sexuality and gender.
- Many thanks to: The Playhouse, International Master Artist Educator (ArtEZ), Éimear Willis, Audrey Gillespie and all the people that wanted to share their stories.
All are welcome to attend.
